Broadside

Sink, loot, grow, and hunt the bounty.

Broadside drops you straight into an auto-sailing ship on a procedural ocean. Steering sets up the shot and each side reloads on its own timer, which is enough to turn a two-button game into a real fight. Four ammunition types, a three-slot ability loadout, wind, whirlpools, treasure, bounties, and a closing sea do the rest.

Everyone sails the same hull, so a match is settled by aim and loadout rather than by who has played longer. Freebooter, Royal Navy, and Undead fleets are cosmetic. Progression, achievements, chat, spectating, leaderboards, bots, and the Kraken are all there, and nothing sits between you and the first game: no install, no account.

It runs in the browser on PixiJS and Socket.IO with a server-authoritative simulation, baked CC0 art, and procedurally generated audio. It is also where Andrew learns game development in public.
